A finance-focused student at Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business and Barrett, The Honors College, with a strong interest in financial modeling, investment analysis, and private markets. Originally from Waterloo, Nebraska — a small town just outside of Omaha — my background as a competitive athlete shaped my work ethic, but I chose to pursue finance to build a long-term career centered around investing and value creation.

Through hands-on experience and academic work, I've developed a particular interest in entrepreneurship and venture capital, especially in identifying and evaluating high-growth opportunities. I'm especially excited about the future of emerging industries like AI and how capital can be deployed to back the next generation of companies.

Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University has been ranked the #1 honors college in the United States by the Fiske Guide to Colleges — a distinction it has held consistently for over two decades. Barrett provides an academically rigorous environment with smaller class sizes, dedicated faculty mentorship, and a strong intellectual community embedded within a large research university.

As a Barrett student, I've completed honors-level coursework across finance, economics, and business strategy, culminating in an independent honors thesis that applies private equity frameworks to the emerging market for college athletics investment.

I grew up playing basketball — a four-year varsity player with opportunities to continue at smaller colleges — but chose to focus on academics and long-term career opportunities, which led me to Arizona State. I came into college interested in wealth management, but over time was drawn to the technical side of finance: financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis. I'm now focused on roles in private equity or venture capital.

Outside of academics, sports are still a big part of my life — I follow college football and basketball closely (see the Stadium Tour) and stay active through intramurals. My family owns an Airbnb property in Scottsdale, which gave me early exposure to how a small business operates — from bookings and pricing to real estate as an investment.
